It was winter of 2011 when I reached out to the Chicago producer duo The-Drum with whom I was obsessed at the time. They had all the sonic tropes I had imagined would complement my budding visual aesthetic.

I needed a sense of accountability and motivation to jumpstart my 3D motion design skills and even though this piece took a grueling eight months to complete, it was the most thorough self-initiated schooling in computer graphics I could have asked for.
